White Oak Proposed Medium-Density Development
At the July meeting, we began to discuss the proposed
medium-density development on White Oak Avenue between Lassen and
Superior. Currently, a developer, Ted Stein, is proposing to convert 4
contiguous
single-family homes on large lots into 32 small single family homes
(reduced from 36 to meet Planning Department requirements),
and has applied for zoning changes to make this possible. Also, there's
a potential for the entire block to be redeveloped in this way.
